Embedding Sustainability and AI at the Core of Enterprise Strategy
Arnaud Blandin designs the operating systems that embed sustainability and AI into the financial core of companies.
With over 20 years of global experience across Fortune 500 corporations, private equity funds, and high-growth ventures, he helps boards and executive teams move beyond ESG compliance and turn sustainability into a driver of competitive advantage, capital allocation, and long-term value creation.
Most organizations today invest heavily in reporting frameworks and AI tools that remain disconnected from business outcomes. Arnaud’s work focuses on system-level integration — aligning strategy, data, technology, and financial performance into a coherent architecture that executives can use to make better decisions, faster.
What differentiates his approach is his ability to bridge domains typically treated separately.
He began his career as an engineer in Silicon Valley, contributing to Java language standards and building enterprise systems for organizations including NASA. That technical foundation allows him to understand how AI and data systems truly function — not just how they appear in strategy decks. He later scaled businesses across Asia, Europe, and North America, developing the economic intelligence platforms and measurement frameworks that now underpin his advisory work.
As founder of the Beyond Institute, Arnaud has been exploring how organizations can transition toward a more purpose-driven and impact-aware economic model — one where financial performance, environmental impact, and human development are measured and managed as part of the same system. His work integrates scenario modeling, impact measurement, and AI-enabled decision architectures to help organizations navigate long-term structural change.
He works primarily with boards and C-suites on three types of engagements:
ESG and sustainability integration diagnostics that convert compliance spending into strategic leverage
AI-powered sustainability strategy, including scenario modeling and financial impact analysis
Ongoing advisory relationships supporting multi-year transformation and integration challenges
Alongside his advisory work, Arnaud mentors and teaches more than 500 executives annually at institutions including INSEAD, CEDEP, Singapore Management University, SKEMA, and other global executive programs. He is also a mentor at initiatives such as Creative Destruction Lab and the Monaco Ocean Protection Challenge, supporting founders building impact-driven ventures.
He takes on a limited number of board advisory and speaking engagements each year.
Based between Europe and Asia, Arnaud focuses his work on organizations committed not only to reporting impact, but to redesigning how value is created in the first place.
